Come See the SCA Entry
in the Circle of Trees Display
The Sherburne Civic Association invites
members and others in the neighborhood to check out the group's
Holiday Tree at this year's "Circle of Trees" display
at Prescott Park in Portsmouth. The trees will be on display
immediately following the Annual Holiday Parade scheduled for
6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. The event will feature caroling and
refreshments.
Volunteers Need to
Decorate Neighborhood Tree
The SCA is also hoping to enter Annual
City-wide Holiday Decorating Contest. The competition is set
for 6-9 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1. During that time, judges will be
canvassing the city for the most festive and creative use of
decorations and lights on the outside of homes and businesses.
First, second and third-place winners will be announced immediately
following the Holiday Parade (around 7:30 p.m.) at the "Circle
of Trees" festivities. The neighborhood would like to have
a decorated tree on the island at the entrance to Pannaway Manor
near the mailbox. Those interested should contact Jennifer Fahey

Christmas Caroling
